Replacing a refill.

Refills for all Small Timber Pen are available at most local stationary stores or can be purchased from us for a nominal cost.

Streamline, Rifle Cartridge and Euro-Designer Models (Cross refill) – to remove the refill, gently pull apart the two pen halves and unscrew the old refill. Insert the refill and tighten firmly. Push the two pen halves back together, turning the top barrel counterclockwise to align the grain patterns again.

Triton, Jr Gent and Churchill Models (standard rollerball refill) - to remove the refill, gentle unscrew the barrel from the lower body of the pen. Insert the new refill and tighten firmly.

Caring for your handcrafted wood pen.

Your Small Timber Pen is made from wood, a natural and durable material. The wood used in each pen is well seasoned and very stable, and will provide you with years of faithful service. However, as with any fine quality wood product care is required in order to ensure its longevity (i.e., do not immerse in water or do not expose your pen to extreme hot/cold weather conditions).

Each pen is finished by hand using a cyanocrylate based compound resulting in a clear durable gloss finish. Over time the shine may dull from normal use. To restore its finish, using a soft cloth apply a small amount of furniture wax, and buff.

The metal finish (pen tips and clips) can be cleaned using a damp soft cloth. Do not use any abrasives, as the abrasive will damage the plating.
